IKA MATA / RAW FISH
Ingredients
- Fresh Fish
- Can coconut cream
- Red Onion
- Capsicum
- Lime juice and/or lemon juice
- Fresh herbs: coriander, spring onion, parsley
- Sesame seed oil

Optional: Sweet chilli sauce or chilli oil
Method
- Dice the fresh fish into small, even-sized pieces and place into a bowl.
- Add the finely diced red onion and capsicum to the fish.
- Pour over lime juice and/or lemon juice, mixing gently to coat the fish.
- Add coconut cream and stir through until well combined.
- Mix in the fresh chopped herbs — coriander, spring onion, and parsley.
- Drizzle a small amount of sesame seed oil over the mixture for added flavour.

Optional: Add sweet chilli sauce or chilli oil to taste.
- Chill before serving to allow flavours to develop.
